Vincent Gruis is full professor of Housing Management at Delft University of Technology and chair of the Dutch Transition Team for a Circular Construction Economy (www.circulairebouweconomie.nl). Vincent conducts research and education on organisational strategies in housing management and is engaged in the question of how property managers and developers can adapt their stock and activities to societal challenges. Renovation and management of the existing housing stock is an essential part of the building task and poses challenges for landlords, developers, investors, governments and tenants. He focusses in particular on how principles of the circular economy can be implemented in the management and (re)development of housing.
